ABOUT THE ROLE/CLIENT

Our client is one of the largest worldwide accounting, tax, audit, and consultancy companies operating in more than 160 countries.

The purpose of this position is to ensure the quality and functionality of a software product by identifying bugs, issues, and inconsistencies within the software. You will be working closely among two teams with its developers, product managers, and other team members to improve the product and ensure it meets both user expectations and company standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and document test plans and test cases based on the software’s requirements and specifications.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the features, functionality, and business needs of the product.

• Perform manual and automated tests to find defects, performance issues, or other discrepancies.

• Test different aspects of the product, such as usability, functionality, security, compatibility, and performance.

• Log and document defects, bugs, and issues found during testing.

• Work closely with developers to understand technical issues and ensure that they are fixed.

• Organise User Acceptance Testing to verify that the software meets business requirements and provide feedback from a user perspective.

• Write automated test scripts using tools, language and frameworks such as Java with Playwright. Selenium, JUnit or TestNG as advantage.

• Suggest improvements in testing processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and test coverage.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience in QA Testing.

• Programming with Java language is preferred.

• Experience with testing tools like Postman and Playwright is preferred.

• Familiarity in programming with Microsoft based technologies. Experience with other programming languages is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving skills to understand the root causes of issues.

• Ability to clearly document issues and communicate effectively with team members.

• Ability to assess risks and prioritize testing efforts based on the product’s complexity and business needs.
