ABOUT THE ROLE 

We are looking for a motivated, organized, and proactive individual to join our team as a Mid-Senior Project Business Analyst. Our client is a global organization which provides specialized services in testing, inspection, certification, and consulting. Their mission is to help companies across various industries ensure safety, compliance, and sustainability. By offering expertise in risk management and regulatory standards, they support businesses in navigating complex technical challenges and meeting industry-specific requirements.

This is a remote role but requires working in alignment with the Central European time zone (CET/CEST).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Planning & Estimation

• Collaborate with the team to estimate project timelines and resources

• Create detailed project schedules and plans

Client Communication

• Lead project kick-off meetings with clients

• Serve as the main point of contact for all client communications

• Provide regular project updates through weekly client meetings

Requirement Gathering & Documentation

• Collect and analyze client requirements (both at the start and throughout the project)

• Prepare clear and detailed solution documentation

Agile Project Management

• Create and manage the project backlog and user stories

• Plan and facilitate sprints when needed

• Lead daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives

Quality Assurance & Testing

• Conduct and coordinate testing, including smoke testing

• Register, track, and prioritize bugs in the backlog

• Maintain bug/feedback logs using Excel

• Generate testing dashboards and reports

Change & Feedback Management

• Coordinate with the team on client change requests

• Ensure feedback is addressed and integrated into project plans

Project Closure

• Manage the final steps of a project, ensuring a smooth handover and closure

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 4+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst or in a similar role

• Fluency in English (both: spoken and written)

• Familiarity with Excel

• Ability to create test cases for user stories

• Proficiency in backlog management and user story writing

• Strong communication and coordination skills with both internal teams and clients

• Experience with requirement elicitation and solution documentation

• Knowledge of software testing principles, including smoke testing

• Competence in creating user and deployment guides

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and participation in sprint activities
