The Importance of Job Advertisement

Important step in your inclusive recruitment should be an analysis of the recruitment platforms that you use. Reiz Tech uses wide range of platforms that are used in different demographics, which gives the diversity of the audience.

What is more, we are expanding our candidate search by looking for candidates at different higher education schools. We organize meet ups with our team members and connect with students, who come from different backgrounds and education levels.

To add, Reiz Tech offers all our employees flexible working hours and a remote work – the individual choice of a location that the candidate wants to work from. Flexible working increases workplace diversity by making roles accessible to those with caring responsibilities (primarily women), disabled staff, and both older and younger workers. Roles offered with flexible working on the jobsite Indeed attracted 19–30% more candidates and improves the gender balance.

During the Recruitment Process

In our recruitment process, we always let candidates know how the process will work, when decisions will be made, and how soon they can expect to hear back after applying. An employer who is seen as being timely is also more attractive to candidates. This style of communication can also support candidates with caring responsibilities or unpredictable work hours, who may have less time to prepare for interviews.

When a candidate misses out on being appointed, we encourage them to reapply the next time there is a suitable vacancy. According to studies, women are less likely to reapply for roles, particularly for senior roles, when compared with men.

Finally, where possible, Reiz Tech collects and analyzes data that tells the story of our diversity and inclusion recruitment process.

Referral Program as a Tool

In Reiz Tech we believe in hiring internally and hiring people who are Reizers. We value a strong network and personal recommendations; therefore, our employees can recommend and submit potential candidate’s details through our referral portal.

Although, hiring through employee referrals has been often criticized as anti-diverse way, using targeted referrals can help with reaching marginalised groups – breaking the tendency people would refer people like them.
