Shaping the Future through Mentorship 

Mentorship programs aim to create opportunities for mentees to gain hands-on experience and apply their skills, providing them with the necessary resources and support to help them achieve their professional goals. It helps Reizers develop new skills and knowledge in their field, enhance employee engagement and retention, and foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the company. 



We recently concluded an interview with Miglė Dzedulionytė, our Project Coordinator who is proud to be part of the Mentorship Program. She believes that “participation in the Mentorship program is enabling and encouraging professional and personal development. This kind of relationship offers something powerful to both sides - the mentee and the mentor.” 

Professional development focuses on helping the mentee acquire new skills, knowledge, and experience in their field. Professional development is important because it helps mentees progress in their careers and contributes more effectively to the company.  

Personal development, on the other hand, focuses on helping the mentee grow and develop as a person. Personal development is important because it helps the mentee build a strong foundation for a successful and fulfilling life, both inside and outside of work.  

She was lucky to get Valdas, our CEO, as her mentor. She added, “a mentor empowers courage to unlock creativity by finding solutions for a given task or sometimes helps by giving instructions on how to perform tasks or develop useful skills. My mentor made me believe that some personal features that I identified as my weaknesses could be used as strengths or opportunities. I received challenges to identify my career path in the long run – this approach ignites interest in future perspectives, innovations, and skills – it is the key to successful performance.” 

She was incredibly grateful for the opportunity to take part in the mentorship program because she “had a chance to try learning by doing, getting constructive feedback, and learning to accept it for personal and professional growth.” By providing mentees with guidance, support, and opportunities for growth, mentorship programs can play a key role in helping them achieve success and reach their full potential. She also added, “there are so many benefits for mentees to take part in the mentorship program, but exceptional values are supportiveness, constructive feedback, and encouragement on trying new things. In the mentorship process, ambitious and devoted mentees can get beneficial experiences in personal and professional fields.”  

Take control of your future and plan your career, not just work at a job. Plan your career rather than simply work to keep a job. She continues that an individual must, “learn and improve skills. Tools and trends are evolving, and so are people. To always be in demand, knowledge must be up to date too. Discover future profession, seek knowledge, and develop skills for that area.”
