Despite the commitment of its volunteers and employees, the program needed better systems to manage its operations. That's where the BA CoP saw an opportunity to make a real difference.
The team set out to identify pain points and create practical solutions that would ease the daily operations of both volunteers and MOPT staff. Through thoughtful analysis and creative problem-solving, they reviewed the project's processes and provided recommendations for improvements.
"We are leaving the 'Maistas ant Ratų' project team with a ready-to-use solution for data sharing between volunteers and MOPT employees," shared Siga Vengrė, member of the BA CoP. By streamlining data flow, the solution ensures standardized MAR project information across all volunteer groups in Lithuania. This guarantees easy access and analysis by MOPT in their daily operations.
Educating others about the importance of business analysis and knowledge-sharing is a cornerstone of the BA CoP's mission. Beyond technical solutions, the collaboration was a chance to highlight the often-overlooked power of business analysis. The BA CoP approached the project with compassion, knowing that meaningful solutions come from truly understanding people's needs.
One of the most uplifting moments came when MOPT expressed their gratitude:
"First of all, we want to thank you and your entire team who contributed to the systematization of the 'Maistas ant Ratų' program and the creation of this service's platform. Your proposed ideas encouraged us to rethink our activities. Your consultations were deep and thoughtful, and each meeting was highly productive, often ending with actionable results. The final solution you proposed will undoubtedly make our work easier. I believe this period of collaboration was utilized effectively, and the six-month journey together truly met our expectations."
