Meet Kamilė: Making her Mark in the IT World!

We are excited to share with you the inspiring story of our HR Manager, Kamilė, who has not only made her mark in human resources but also in the IT world!

Kamilė Luotytė joined Reiz Tech, with a strong passion for people and a desire to work in the dynamic field of technology. Her exceptional skills in employee engagement and strategic planning made her an instant asset to our team.

She mentioned some of the most common challenges she faced in her current role, "managing employee conflicts is a major HR challenge that requires strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Keeping up with changes in employment laws is also crucial to ensure effective policies and procedures. HR operates in a fast-paced environment and needs to continually adapt and evolve work practices to maintain employee satisfaction while balancing new trends with employee well-being."

She balanced the needs of employees with the goals of the company through, "balancing employee needs with company goals requires teamwork and a strategic approach. Aligning HR practices with the company's mission, vision, and values is key. Gathering feedback from employees and incorporating it into policies is also important. HR strives to create a positive work culture that promotes employee well-being, engagement, and retention while achieving company goals. Ongoing communication, collaboration, and flexibility are essential in finding the right balance."

She stayed up-to-date on changes and developments in HR regulations and laws. She added, "Staying up-to-date on changes and developments in HR regulations and laws is crucial for HR specialists. A few ways how to stay informed include listening to HR conferences, subscribing to HR newsletters and publications, sharing information with HR team members, having a mentor, and networking with other HR professionals or labor law lawyers on LinkedIn."

She added that the skills she thinks are essential for success in the HR field, "good communication and interpersonal skills are essential, including active listening and clear writing to convey difficult and sensitive information professionally and empathetically. Understanding employment laws, analyzing data, and making effective decisions are also important due to the ever-changing HR landscape. Building positive relationships with employees and management, motivating people, and upholding ethical standards require empathy, adaptability, and a strong ethical framework."

"A career in HR management is both challenging and rewarding. Relevant work experience through internships or entry-level positions in HR departments can help develop the necessary competence and knowledge. Don't be afraid of challenges in this field; they provide a great opportunity for personal and professional growth." The best advice she mentioned is for someone interested in pursuing a career in HR management.

Kamilė's innovative approach to HR has not gone unnoticed in the industry. She has been able to speak in several learning lunches internally, sharing her insights on how technology and HR can work together to create a better employee experience.
