Leading the Change for Tech Success: An Interview with Raimundas Dundulis

In the fast-paced and constantly evolving world of Information Technology, leadership is key to driving innovation and success. Reiz Tech has been fortunate to have a talented Development Team Lead who has made a significant impact on the Reiz’s IT operations and the industry as a whole.   



We recently concluded an interview with our Development Team Lead, Raimundas Dundulis who has been instrumental in driving the company's growth and success. He helped transform the IT landscape of the company with his innovative ideas, knowledge, and leadership skills.   

As a culturally driven ethos, Reiz believes that a team leader who demonstrates the most important Reiz values sets an example for others in the company to follow. Raimundas mentioned that “Autonomy, responsibility, and perseverance are the Reiz values I demonstrate as a team leader.” When Reizers see their leads living the values, they are more likely to adopt them as well, creating a cohesive and unified team culture. 

The way people describe themselves may not always align with how others see them. “Asking how team members and colleagues would describe a person can help to uncover the individual's level of self-awareness and whether they are open to feedback. Thus, I was described as serious, available, and relaxed.”  

The ability to communicate effectively and persuade others to accept your ideas is an essential skill for any leader. He added, “By sharing them (usually by just hinting), reasoning, not pushing, not dropping without a context, allowing the counterparty to discover them themselves.” 

Asking how a person motivates their team is an essential question when evaluating leadership potential. He believes that his way of motivating his people, “benefits for others and self, fun in doing it. By my own example.” It is a display of his ability to inspire and lead others, identify potential areas for improvement, and promote a positive work environment. 

Conclusion 

In conclusion, asking how a person leads through change is an important question when evaluating leadership potential. It can provide insight into their adaptability, leadership style, potential challenges, and risks, and approach to change. As we closed the interview, he mentioned, “I am not a fan of changes. I keep them to a minimum. Although I might still be among the biggest changers.” Get to know more about Raimundas.
